The Sure Shot is a really tidy looking model, neat and compact with an appealing shape that fits snugly in the palm of your hand.
The functions are simple and easy to use and self mapping of up to 13 points on each hole proved to be very easy.
The screen is clear with good colors and easy to read under all lighting conditions.
For its size the Sure Shot seemed a bit on the heavy side (7ounces) although not that heavy that it was uncomfortable to carry around.
We used the Sure Shot to record our scores and also entered the number of fairways and greens hit in regulation.  All were easy to use and made for some interesting after round discussion.  There is certainly a lot of benefit in being able to analyze your game afterwards.
The Sure Shot can be used anywhere in the world and if you come across a course that is not mapped it is a simple matter to request that they map it for you.
We had a few reservations about the battery life which is limited to about 7 hours and is less than 2 rounds of 18 holes.
At a purchase price of $379.95 with the first years annual membership free the Sure Shot is good value for money for anyone who can afford over $350.00.

The Sure Shot is a very reasonably priced unit with a lot of very good features in its small frame.
Up to 10 courses can be stored on the unit from the over 12,000 available.
Courses can be self mapped and as many as 18 points per hole can be plotted. This includes the front, center and back of green. A request to map a course that you would like to play can be done simply by contacting customer support.

The annual membership of $20.00 per year comes into effect from the second year onwards. Thereafter it is compulsory.

Like all golf GPS models the Sure Shot will benefit you in many ways.  It will definitely reduce your playing time and you will gain great confidence from knowing how far you hit each club in your bag.  Removing any concerns regarding distance and club selection is a great confidence booster and you should never be short again.
With the Sure Shot you are also able to record your score and the number of fairways and greens in regulation plus the number of putts per round.  This is of tremendous benefit after the game when you can reflect on what your weaknesses and strengths were and devote time to improving those areas.

Yes the 2.2" x 2.2" screen is very easy to read in all lighting conditions.  Brilliant colors!

One of the disappointments of the Sure Shot was the fact that the built in lithium battery only provides 7 hours of play - not quite enough for 2 full rounds of 18 holes of golf.

We found the Sure Shot to be accurate to within 1-5 yards which is OK but not great.  We do not know how many satellites the unit has access to.
