Pros:

  • Up to 10 courses can be stored in the Sure Shot GPS.
  • If not already mapped you can request specific courses to be mapped.
  • The system provides shot distance analysis as well as performance tracking - FIR, GIR etc.
  • Self mapping is simple. Up to 15 different custom points can be mapped on each hole.
  • Very easy to use and there are several different levels of operation.
  • The Sure Shot GPS has a 2.2' color screen with high resolution making it easy to read in any lighting conditions.
  • The GPS measures 3.9" x 3.3" and weighs 7oz.  It fits snugly in the palm of a hand for easy use.
  • The Sure Shot GPS has a built in rechargeable battery that provides 7 hours of continuous power.
  • 1 year warranty.
Cons:
  • At just 7 hours of battery life this is one of the most limited.  Any round that takes over 3.5 hours would need the battery to be recharged before the next round.
  • Price.  In this price range it has some serious contenders.
  • Small company and a relatively small player in the market.
Conclusion:

On a value for money basis we would recommend looking at one of the other GPS models available.
