    In carrying out our reviews we have tried out the different             models where ever possible and received hundreds of                     testimonials from people who are actually using th e products         during play.

GPS Brands and Models.

This was an interesting exercise and is an extremely competitive area with the main brands all competing with one another to bring out better models all the time.  

Besides the very well known brands there are a number of lesser known GPS models on the market that are having a tremendous impact.  The good news is that with all this competition not only are the products getting better but they are getting cheaper.

        Rangefinder Brands and Models.

        Not nearly as many players in this field as it appears that the more established             brand names are well entrenched.  

        However it is still a very competitive market and products are improving and                 becoming cheaper all the time. We believe that some of the price reduction and improvements are a result of the competition from the GPS market.  It will be interesting to see how this market develops over the coming years.

Once again we only looked at the popular brands based on sales, the number of golfers that answered our survey and information gleaned from the merchants and other sources.
