Welcome to Digi Caddie
Taking the guesswork out of golf!
Digi Caddie
is here to help you decide if you want to use a
rangefinder or a GPS as
your preferred electronic distance
guide and to help you decide which
is the best product for you.
The use of electronic aides for providing golfers with accurate distances was recently approved by the world governing bodies, the R&A and USGA, and this has resulted in more and more golfers buying either a GPS or a rangefinder.
Healthy debate continues about the merits of each system. There are avid advocates for either and both certainly have their uses. It all really depends on your requirements and personal preferences.
Issues that need to be taken into consideration include cost, size, service, ease of use, number of available courses, courses played, personal requirements, individual handicaps and a myriad of other issues.
Our aim is to, not only help you in the decision making process of which is more suitable - a GPS or a rangefinder - but also to help find the best product available once you know which system you would prefer.
For information on the pros and cons of each system works please go to our articles page.
Once you know which system you want it is time to decide which product and which brand is best for you. Here we have done a ton of research for you and give you the good and the bad of all the top selling units under individual brand names.
The results of this research can be found by clicking on any the individual brands in the panels on the left titled 'GPS' and 'Rangefinders'.
Finally we do a review comparing the top selling GPS models under 'GPS Reviews' and the top selling rangefinders under 'Rangefinder Reviews'.
Our purpose is to make life easier for you and to this end we would appreciate any feedback from you, our customer. Your input and criticism will go a long way to helping us improve our service to others.
